All-Stars Tourney Begins Tonight at Pioneer Park

The Little League Majors (11 and 12-year-olds) from District 11, Area 2, square off tonight to begin a rigorous All-Stars Tournament that is sure to give hefty crowds plenty of thrills, chills, and spills over the course of the next six days. Leagues from Penn Valley, Colfax, Grass Valley, Nevada City, and Foresthill meet on the hallowed gridiron starting at 5 pm this evening.

Baseball fans will also be delighted to learn that with this tourney comes a completely revamped Snack Shack menu that should really get those salivary glands a’ drippin’. Chef William Bradley from the 5-Star Addison Restaurant, set inside the luxurious Grand Del Mar Resort in San Diego, was flown up especially for this weekend’s event. Here is the menu with assorted pricing:
