Los Angeles, CA — Tupac Shakur was murdered in 1996, leaving his legions of fans to mourn his passing. Even today in 2016, his killer has never been caught or identified.

The upcoming biopic on Tupac, All Eyez on Me, is set to be released later this year. Dimetrius Shipp Jr. was scheduled to play Tupac, but in a surprise move the director will hire rapper Eminem to play Tupac. Eminem, the dynamic rapper from Detroit, has already had success in acting in his movie 8 Mile in 2002.

Gish Gallop spoke to All Eyez on Me director,Benny Boom about casting Eminem.

“Well with Em, we feel like we can get the white audience in to the theaters to see the movie. That’s where the money is.”

We asked Benny if he worried about backlash from the black community, he said, “naw, I think when they see Em on the screen, it will all work out.”

No date has been given for the biopic’s release.

Cleveland Sam
Cleveland Sam, born Sam C. Sharpe, is a hero, a hero to anyone who knows him in Ohio. At the mere age of 7, he rescued a small girl from the clutches of a herd of llamas outside his boyhood home of Cleveland, OH. By the age of 12, he had already rescued over 14 children from near deaths ranging from freak ice cream truck accidents, to drownings in neighbors' Dough Boy Pools. But his heroism didn't stop at youth. No sir. As a teenager, he saved the entire cheerleading squad of his local high school from certain death with their "party van" caught fire during a local "rager." He writes for Gish Gallop because he feels he needs to rescue it. He's probably correct.
