Dallas, TX — Country music artist Hank Williams Jr., son of legend Hank Williams, has made a startling announcement. Williams has withdrawn his support for Republican candidate Donald Trump and endorsed Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton. The move shocks Williams fans all over the nation.

It is such a surprise turnaround because many of Williams statements conflict with Clinton’s proposed policies, with gun control and immigration being the two biggest issues. Clinton was quick to accept his support, Williams is expected to contribute to her campaign and appear at rallies.

Gish Gallop spoke with Williams’s public relations advisor, Tim Bocephus, asking how the change in ideals happened.

“Ol’ Hank had a real change of heart after seeing the Syrian refugees fleeing their war torn country,” said Bocephus. “He is hoping that his fans will join him and do the right thing.”

Fans have not responded well. Many have burned Williams CDs and memorabilia. They plan to protest outside the venues where Williams will be playing in the coming weeks.

Williams fan Andy Hanson gave a brief interview to Gish Gallop.

“I cannot believe the S.O.B would do this to the country,” said Mr. Hanson. “I’ve started shooting his CD’s and posters out back. Now, all we have is Ted Nugent.

Cleveland Sam
Cleveland Sam, born Sam C. Sharpe, is a hero, a hero to anyone who knows him in Ohio. At the mere age of 7, he rescued a small girl from the clutches of a herd of llamas outside his boyhood home of Cleveland, OH. By the age of 12, he had already rescued over 14 children from near deaths ranging from freak ice cream truck accidents, to drownings in neighbors' Dough Boy Pools. But his heroism didn't stop at youth. No sir. As a teenager, he saved the entire cheerleading squad of his local high school from certain death with their "party van" caught fire during a local "rager." He writes for Gish Gallop because he feels he needs to rescue it. He's probably correct.
