New York, NY — NYPD officers were shocked and horrified by the scene they encountered upon investigation of a domestic disturbance in an upscale Chelsea neighborhood this morning. “This kind of thing just doesn’t happen here,” cried a neighbor that wouldn’t give her name. “It is so out of character for our neighborhood. We are all wealthy and very civil.”

“This is a very sensitive case and we are not yet able to release much information to the public,” NYPD police commissioner, James O’Neil began his press briefing. “City records show the apartment has been owned by the Clinton Foundation for the past 15 years.”

The commissioner paused briefly to confer with Mayor, Bill de Blasio, and then continued, “Officers responded to a domestic disturbance call and found a very violent crime scene. We have two victims in this case. One male and one female. On face value, investigators believe this to be a murder suicide.” O’Neil again paused to confer with de Blasio. “We have just in the last hour confirmed the identities of the decedents. Anthony David Weiner and his estranged wife, Huma Mahmood Abedin were pronounced dead on arrival by NYPD officers. Senior homicide detectives are currently investigating this horrific crime scene.”

When asked what leads them believe this is a domestic murder suicide, O’Neil answered, “Unfortunately, we see these types of crimes all too often in the midst of a heated relationship break-up like these two were embroiled in. So far, virtually all of the evidence points to an altercation between the couple that turned deadly.”

When pressed on the details of the crime scene that led investigators to their conclusion, O’Neil said, “I can’t share the details with you at this time, but we should have this investigation wrapped up as soon as we find Ms. Abedin’s tongue.”
