New York, NY — President Donald Trump announced that he will provide health care to all Americans. Fast-forward to today when at an early morning press briefing, spokeswoman Kellyanne Conway offered additional details on the proposal.

“The President-elect promised insurance for every American a few days back, and we are pleased to announce a proposal we are calling the Affordable Care Act, which will guarantee medical access for everyone, including people with pre-existing conditions. Children up to the age of 26 can stay on their parent’s plans, and the ACA, as we’re calling it, will have an extensive online marketplace where you can buy insurance.”

President-elect Donald Trump said over the weekend interview that he is nearing completion of a plan to replace President Obama’s signature health-care law with the goal of “insurance for everybody.” He also vowing to force drug companies to negotiate directly with the government on prices in Medicare and Medicaid. At the time, Mr. Trump did not offer any specifics. Until today.

“We expect the Republican Congress to move quickly on this bill, as it is the President’s top priority,” continued Ms. Conway. “And with the voter’s mandate from the past election, the Republican’s new-found love of big government, we expect it to pass with little obstruction.”

The Democrats Vow to Oppose, For Some Reason

Democrats in both houses of Congress have vowed to vehemently oppose any resolution that would replace Obamacare with Trump’s Affordable Care Act of 2019.

“This is getting ridiculous,” said Nancy Pelosi (D-San Francisco). “I mean, perhaps Trump could have at least changed the name or something. what a disgrace. I know I speak for many Democrats when I say we will not give up without a fight to stop any legislation from The President or his boot-licker Republicans in Congress.”

Other provisions in Trump’s Affordable Care act will include a new Medicare fee, which Ms. Conway says is not a tax, and a free “fast pass” for Mexicans who bring over cheaper medications over the border.
